However the number of women who registered at the maternal health clinic and whose babies were registered at the maternal health clinic and whose babies were registered at the well baby clinic numbered only 353. A study was made in various facts about pregnancy, infant registration, preventive immunization of infants. The results are as follows;
1. A study of age distribution of the women and their husbands shows 52.0% in the age group of 25-29 and 47.7% in the age group 30-34 respectively. The average age of the women and their husbands are 27.7 and 32.7 years old respectively, the age difference being 5.0 years.
2. The educational level of the registered women shows that more than one half or 55.3% are at primary school level. Utilization of health centers occurs mainly at the lower level of educational attainment.
3. The age of first marriage of the women was highest in the age group 20-24 years being 60.8%. The average of first marriage is 23.8 years.
4. The first visit made to the clinic on an average is in the 6the month of pregnancy.
5. Of the total registered women 22.0% were in their first pregnancy while 78.0% were multiparous women. In regard to the number of pregnancies the highest figure was 25.3% for second pregnancies. The highest figure for women registered was a fourteenth pregnancy.
6. The average number of visits paid to a health center by registered women is 4.2 times with the highest figure of 16 times. Regarding the age groups 4.4 visits are made by women in the 30-34 age group. The higher the level of educational attainment the greater number of visits are paid to the health center.
7. Deliveries in institutions are 48.2% while 51.8% occur at home. 100.0% of women with college education are delivered in institutions while 76.5% of women with no education are delivered at home. The greater the number of children the woman has, the more likely is the to be delivered at home.
8. 55.5% of all deliveries are attended by medical personnel, 45.5% are attended by non-medical personnel. In regard to the level of educational attainment 100.0% of college educated women have attendance by medical personnel. The higher the educational attainment the higher the rate of medical attention at delivery.

10. Of the 579 deliveries reported 61.0% of infants are registered in the well baby clinic. Of the mothers of registered infants 61.2% are in the age group of 25-29 years. This means registration rate is higher in the younger are group of mothers. Registration is positively correlated to the edacational level and negatively correlated to the existing number of children.
11. Preventive immunization during the infant period shows a relatively high rate. 91.7% of infants had vaccination against poliomyelitis and 64.7% had D.P.T. vaccination in the group of mothers ages 35-39. B.C.G. Vaccination was highest in the group of mothers aged 25-29. According to the level of educational attainment of the mothers, vaccination against poliomyelitis, D.P.T. vaccination and B.C.G. vaccination is given more frequently to the infants of mothers in the college educated group, while smallpox vaccination is given more frequently to the infants of mothers with primary school education.
